'Ente Chedi'
Ente Chedi, an educational outreach program by the Post Graduate and Research Department of Botany at Fatima Mata National College (Autonomous), Kollam, in collaboration with Community Radio Benziger, is dedicated to raising public awareness about the rich diversity of medicinal plants found in the region. This unique initiative educates the community on the history, uses, and therapeutic properties of local medicinal plants, fostering a deeper appreciation for the region’s biodiversity and encouraging sustainable practices. By doing so, Ente Chedi aims to revive traditional botanical knowledge, highlighting the vital role of plants in promoting human health and environmental wellbeing.
