Academic programs

BSc Botany (FYUGP)

The Four-Year Undergraduate Program (FYUGP) in Botany is designed to provide students a strong foundation in plant sciences, integrating traditional knowledge with modern advancements in the field. The course covers important areas like plant diversity, ecology, plant breeding, genetics, plant physiology, biotechnology and environmental conservation. The curriculum also ensure skill enhancement through the courses like nursery management, floriculture, and biofertilizer production. Fourth year of the program provides opportunity of research in any of the fields in the subject. These courses are designed in order to prepare the students for respective careers in research, academia, and industry.
